W140 Door Closing Assist Pump Rebuild

Would anyone happen to know where I can get parts for the Door Closing Assist Pump for a W140 1993 Benz 300SE, and where they might rebuild it? Would rather not replace the entire assembly. Thanks.

I (think?) I remember pchansen ( http://v12uberalles.com ) rebuilt his and documented it with a DIY. I've also seen DIY articles in a few mags like "The Star". That mag also has a 1/2 dozen ads for those that do rebuilds.

The www.v12uberalles.com site has a fantastic write-up on doing this - lots of pictures and easy to follow instructions. I did the fix on mine and it has been working flawlessly ever since...

While pchansen is a sharp guy and a great mechanic, V12UberAlles is my humble creation and hosted by me, pcmaher.
Also, the DIY article on the Close Assist Pump in V12UberAlles was written and contributed by Brett Allison, aka the Close Asist Pump Guru. Credit goes to Brett for his fine write-up. I also followed Brett's instructions and got my pump working again.
