Seatbelt Lock Issue

Another day... another small problem with the W140.
All of a sudden, my seatbelt lock spring got disengaged or broken (the spring that pushes the red release button back up when you release the seatbelt).

Any ideas how to open the seatbelt lock box? I cant seem to find any screws or any other way to open it so I can figure out the problem.

WD40 seems to help the issue quite a bit... for the time being at least.
If the WD-40 I suggested helped at all, I guess the thing is just dirty, if there was anything broken, the WD wont make any difference at all.

I think that one of the springs is broken, and the clogged mechanism prevented the lever from going up with the loss of power from the bad spring. Now it is working at least. You can feel it is working in a different way than the passenger side one, but it works.
it might be dislodged... try to lock/unlock it few times, that might drive the spring back in place...
