Normally the rear glass is not operable...

Depending on the level of body armor inside the doors, and the level of window protection for the rear passengers - a good part of the time "full" armored MB's have inoperable rear windows.... I believe operable front windows sacrifice some protection or use another type of ceramic glass, since most countries the front windows must be operable for import.. I have ridden is some MB's where all (4) side windows are inoperable due to armor and glass - you get real woozy looking out at the countryside rolling by in this kindof quatz-thick material - almost a fun-house mirro effect, not quite as bad...

well, on most of the cars that are armored, the rear windows are made not to go down, and the front windows made to be made to be able to open ONLY halfway, so you wouldn't be able to get the bag from the drive-through person.

now imagine living and Texas, Arizona, UAE, or Saudi arabia, and having one with blown AC condencer:

<<< the four passengers...litterly!!

for real tho... look at all of the common problems in W140, most, if not all, will be amplified 1000000000000 times if the body is fully armored:

-front suspention and control arms
-rear hydrolic shocks
-rear windows regulator
-door closing assistant pump
-shimmy in the steering wheel, due to tires getting out of round
-AC condencer leaking
-moon roof mechanism
-etc tec...

i would like to see how they fixed the cosing pump issue, IMO fully armored W140 would need a small V6 engine in the trunk to drive the vaccum pump reliably!!!
