Hi Bayhas!
I also imported my S600 coupe from Japan and don't know even how to turn on the radio Do you have maybe some manual for the radio. I don't need the navi. I would be happy if the radio or CD worked

Brilliant big chap, a big thank you. I have just bought a 1995 CL500 and just getting info on the model so thanks.

I don't suppose you can help, there are a couple of things wrong with the car and I wonder if you can point me in the right direction or offer any tips.

1. The engine pulls like a train but when ticking over it is a bit rough
2. The seat belt extenders don't come out
3. The passenger rear window is very slow and stiff when going down, you have to physically help it

Thanks again for your help.

As far as what all the friends i have in UAE tried, you have 3 options:

-Install a Pioneer AVIC system in the 2DIN dash opening
-Hack the current screen and inject a signal to use the stock screen to display video from an aftermarket DVD/NAVI
-or trade the center dash you have for a standard one, so u can install a regular DIN head unit (stock or aftermarket)

I personally would love to have a Double DIN opening in the dash of my W140, if that ever happens, an 2din AVIC will be sitting there in a matter of hours.
salam akhee
I have called the company in Japan which is YANASE and the person I talked to told me that the English language is supported because there are many ppl in Japan who cant understand Japanese and they own such cars but he couldnt remember the way of turning the language into English
I am suffring from the same problem and I tried so hard and I'm still trying
thank you bro for your help and jazak Allah kol khair
