Hi Everyone,
I just bought 1999 CL500 and I have a few questions I was hoping you guys could help me with. I'll try to spread them out over a few different threads.
So my first question is if I have a complete tool kit in my trunk as there is an open spot in the tray.
Yep! that's the full tool kit - mine has a bag with the four wheel bolts in the large empty square partition(locking wheel nuts fitted) and the key to the locking wheel nuts in the small partition.[:)]
I know its bad practice to keep the key inside the vehicle but since the wheels are also insured(AMG 11's 18") i'm not really bothered[:D]
If you can find a tool site selling STAHLWILLE then you can get everything as they made the tools - they are also the main suppliers for Porsche,Audi,Volkswagen and BMW amongst a few!
Not a lot of people know that! - as Michael Caine once said! [:D]

all they have is a screwdriver when you search for mercedes. And it isnt even like the one in the picture above.
Another quick one - my wifes Vauxhall has exactly the same screwdriver in her cars toolkit!
Maybe you could get the driver from GM rather than pay MB's prices.[:D]
