i have 92 500sel and the vehicle has 130k. the problem is at complete stop i accelate engine hesitates or stalls some time.....
i tryied the sparkplugs, wires rotors cap, fuel injector cleaners, air mass sensors & caliberated at the dealer....but seems the same
and recently i notice the temp of the engine going up due to engine coolant loss but it seems to me that coolant is over flowing through the over flow by the radiator... is this normal? and when i have radiator cap open to see what is going, as soon as thermosat opens up i see foaming of coolant and little bit later i see coolant over flow... is this normal...
friend of mine tells me that i have gasket or head crack but need help....

RE: help on my 500sel
I hate to say it, but I agree with your friend. The symptoms indicate a leaking head gasket. I suggest a coolant system pressure test.
Sorry[:(]

You know you're German if:
You went to school in a Gymnasium
You check your shoes for candy on December 6
You have real candles on your Christmas tree
You know a Frankfurter is a person not a hotdog
Schnitzel with noodles is your favorite meal, not a song in a cheesy musical!
You drive the Autobahn in a Mercedes-Benz at the speed of sound!
i did the block and head gasket test to see the blue fluid turns to yellow but the blue fluid stayed the same... but is it suppose to foam in the radiator or else?
