My '93 SD has both front lenses cracked from rocks. I have replcement lenses but have trouble figuring out how to replace them. The big problem is getting to the bottom plastic tabs that hold the lens in place. I see that the small rectangular metal plate on the bottom needs to be removed to get the bottom tabs, but how does one remove the lens wiper arm to be able to slide the plate forward? What's the trick to removing the wiper arm and is there a trick to this whole lense replacement process. If anyone has a schematic, that would be very helpful. Thanks.[:D]
Thanks to petes site I was able to change my headlights, tried to do it before I read his site and stumbled upon the wiper assembly and screw number 7. The 7 screw was the hardest part of all, trying to sneak a wrench in there and trying to line up the headlight back with screw #7, otherwise everything else was simple, thanks.
