Seat belt extension
Okay, I'll admit it, I'm fat. Not chunky, plump or heavy but fat!
Now that I have THAT out of the way! I recently bought a seat belt extension for my S500 so that I can drive it legally (If MB made the seat belt height adjustable seperately from the seat position I wouldn't need the extension!) I need to know how to disconnect the seat belt from the seat frame so that I can attach the extension. Does the bolt just unscrew or is there a bolt behind it somewhere?

You know you're German if:
You went to school in a Gymnasium
You check your shoes for candy on December 6
You have real candles on your Christmas tree
You know a Frankfurter is a person not a hotdog
Schnitzel with noodles is your favorite meal, not a song in a cheesy musical!
You drive the Autobahn in a Mercedes-Benz at the speed of sound!
I guess I was not very clear,The seat belt ajuster in the door pillar is controlled by a cable (Bowden like a bike shift cable) that is attached to the seat. As the seat moves back it goes up. Run the seat back and up you should see it The belt end is attached to the seat frame by a bolt. The bolt head is under the cap on the seat cladding on my 92. It was pretty snug so they mighr have used loctite on it, it is a shoulder bolt. They could have eliminated the plug so you might have to remove the cladding, there is one screw, and there is one plastic pin that fits into a hole, dont just pull you could break it off, there is also the lumbar control, if you pull of the hose the pump will run. I also posted on the other site, try the adjuster route it might help
