tail light conversion

Ok i went crazy decided to convert my rear lights to the new ones. currently own a 1994 w140 s class s350 with the old style lights.

went nuts got a new trunk lid on e bay taken from a 97 s500 paid 170.00 shipped and the thing is painted black
perfect match...... talk about luck..

here is the question been reading that the when the conversion is done the bulb out light goes on in the dash has anybody experienced such a problem with the 1994 s class (Old style light) (I know i have to change the whole taillight assembly )

Also i have another question any pictures or advice on how to replace the trunk lid ????

if worse comes to worse you can always put a dummy load (20-50Ohms) to fool the computer...

whoa. that is a good idea. I have heard of other people having to cut and grind in the rear in order to have the tailligts work. This is a much cheaper and better idea.
