dupli color calls it universal black, i think merc calls it just black. i am not sure tho...

I think mercedes calls it black opal, or maybe that's what they call it on the w220 s-classes. Whatever the case, good luck painting your car.

according to dupli color's catalog all black non metallic mercs up to 1993 will match the color of the "universal black"...i dont know about later years... you can check it at autozone or advanced auto parts, they both have the same pait series...
