RE: 96 two tone wanting to paint all black, how much?
Just what i've seen from my research.... I guess i was wrong. Can't think of any other reason besides the two-tone bumper being stock and the solid color car being an option?? Just another theory. Good luck getting it painted!! It makes the car look completely different!!

of all the w140 owners on this board nobody knows why, i myself, i thought i know all the updates and changes to the s class but this really stumps me too. its an option is the closest thing i guess but you dont know if thats for sure...
RE: 96 two tone wanting to paint all black, how much?
we are on the same page, the two tone is so out dated, i really wanted to buy a 97-up, which is already one color, if youre gonna paint yours can you post how much it will cost you.
RE: 96 two tone wanting to paint all black, how much?
nope...dupli color is a perfect match...its unreal, i painted my front fender with it and no one can tell the difference...
of course i have a color that is easy to match...in fact its called "universal black"...

oh ok.
did MB call it universal black, or did the paint company name it that?, cuz the color for mine is called something else.
Your car will look good after the paint job.
