is it better to buy high mileage or low mileage 140? - Benzworld.org

Hey guys, I am a newbie from Toronto. I've been considering to buy a 97-99 W140 S320/500 for a while. I want to buy one before my university graduation next year. My family used to have a 95 S420, and had experienced all the common W140 issues (A/C problem, Wiring Harness, etc)

I am prepared for the high fixing cost, and I want to use it as a daily car. It is really diffiult to find a low mileage 140 in Toronto, mileage range from 70,000KM to as high as 180,000KM. Now my questions is, do you guys think if I should opt for a lower mileage or higher mileage 140. If I buy a higher mileage 140, that means i can save up more for future maintencing cost or possibly a 2nd car for winter. Much advice is appreicated!!!!!!

its kinda funny how you consider 180 000KM "high mileage", thats just break in for a merc...
my W140 had 258930 Miles and still running strong...

not only that, but i just noticed that i made a typo, i used the word HAD, instead of HAS...

my car HAS 258K miles on it...
