Electrical Plug Dilemma

I replaced the evaporator core in my 1997 w140 s320 and i've been putting the dash back in i've found a plug and i can't find out what it goes to.

It's taped up with the airbag and glove box light.
Has 3 prongs, part number 014 545 00 28.
3 Cables, Yellow w/ blue stipes, brown, and grey w/ red stripes.

Anyone have any ideas?

RE: Electrical Plug Dilemma

This is a really stupid question but do you remember unplugging it or do you suspect it was an optional item like maybe the phone.
Maybe, if all w140's use the same basic wiring harness, it could the plug that powers the digital display (I believe fan speed) that I believe the S600 has above the outboard airvents by each door.
As I'm not familiar with the 600, I could only find a picture for the left side. I believe the right has one as well- in addition to the one in the center vents.

RE: Electrical Plug Dilemma

It was the plug in the for the switchover valve, hidden away under a flap attached to my vaccuum box.
I've gotten the dash back in but now my glovebox tumbler and screwed up and it's stuck in and the key won't turn, i suspect a tumbler has fallen out of position somehow.
