for some reason my light switch doesnt light up...and also my high beams dont flicker....if you push the stick for the high beams away from you, the high beams stay on, but when you push it towards you, it should flicker the high beams... just wondering if anyone knew of a problem like this and how i could fix it... thanks for any feedback

RE: light switch

Sounds like the bulb is out. My flasher function doesn't work either. I can turn hi beams on, but flasher doesn't work. It worked for a little while after I took it apart, but then crapped out again. The contacts are worn. I haven't bothered replacing it. US drivers don't know what flashing hi beams means anyway...

RE: light switch

The combination switch is a tricky one. It involves removing the air bag. MUST USE EXTREME CAUTION! Instructions are lengthy. I'll send you private e-mail.

RE: light switch

OK.
in my car, the positions in the area above the actaula switch are lit. But, the knob, itself showing the arrow is NOT lit. The centre orange light in the knob only lights up when I turn on the rear fog lamp. IS that correct that the knob itself has no lights other than the rear fog lamp?
