Well folks,
I can finally say I'm an official part of the club. I purchased a 1997 S500 sedan, smoke silver in color this past Friday.[8D] All of the "big" issue items are in working order, including the AC. My new baby however is in the shop getting her accumulators and front control arm bushings replaced (the ride was like being in the rumble seat of a 1937 Ford). I have a good indy mech just 5 min from my house who is working on her. I will be picking her up tomorrow evening. I am really stoked!!! As soon as I can get my brothers digital camera working I will post some picks on the pic thread.
This forum has been a great guide and a huge help in my decision to get a W140. The shocked looks on the dealer's faces when they see how much homework I have done on these cars is priceless. Thanks to all![:D]
