SWITCHED COMPUTERS>>>SAME THREE INOPERATIVE (MEANING DOES NOT OPEN / NO CLICKING)..NEED SUGGESTIONS / FACTS FROM KNOWLEDGABLE MEMBERS..WILL THE INJECTORS BE SHUT DOWN DUE TO ANY FAULT SUCH AS BAD PLUG-CORD,,???WHAT IS THE INJECTOR SIGNAL DEPENDANT UPON???DOES THE ALLDATA GIVE A GOOD DIAGNOSTIC INSIGHT TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?? THANX IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION!!!!

Check the injector loom..under the cover in the center..also the plug assembly rh wheel arch top// big plug.. with lodsa pins.. might just be a short.. you can rebuild it if it is.. be carefull when you look to make sure the insulation is not failing...

,,,,3 INJECTORS BECOME INOPERATIVE DUE TO ABSENCE OF PULSE,,,HV A NEW INJECTOR LOOM INSTALLED AS THE ORIGINAL INSULATION WAS WAS BREAKING UP,,,THIS ONE IS FRESH & PLIABLE STILL,,HOWEVER WILL CHECK AS u ADVISE,,IF HV ACCESS TO ALL DATA (OR similar..) POST HOW THE PULSE IS GENERATED & TRANSMITTED TO THE INJECTORS,,THANX IN ADVANCE.

Hmm.. well that is a little complex but short version .. 2xflywheel sensors and three camshaft sensors.. so if one works.. they all work.. I think you ought to look in another direction.. Fuel delivery.. pressure reg.. pump??
worn out injectors..try a change of position of one or two..see if problem moves with injector..
Had a similar problem with mine and it was the coil pack behind the headlight-caused the bank to shut down!
Also replaced my wiring loom last year for similar symptoms![;)]
Merc600sec,,PLS BE GOOD ENOUGH TO POST IT FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL 600 MEMBERS AS INFO IS HARD TO COME BY FOR MERCS,,ALSO DRIVE SEVILLE ETC..PLENTY OF INFO IN WEB,,,COMING BACK,,HAVE A COMPLETE SPARE CAR,,HENCE CONNECTED AN INJECTOR TO THE INOPERATIVE CONNECTOR,,,DID NOT OPEN AS WELL(AUDIBLE VERIFICATION WITH STETHESCOPE),,ALSO CHECKING FOR CONINUITY/SHORT-CIRCUIT WITH MULTIMETER,,BUT DO NOT HV ACCESS TO A GOOD CIRCUIT DIAGRAM,,AS THE 5-CDs
purchased on ebay for over 100 US $ IS UNINSTALLABLE & THE SELLER IS NO MORE ON EBAY,,IF U HV A INJECTOR CIRCUIT DIAG.,,PLS BE GOOD ENOUGH TO POST IT IF POSSIBLE,,THANX IN ADVANCE.
Alldata does have good schematics for the injector circuits jorghenry. There are at least 16 images to complete the system schematic though...too much to post.
