No Reversing Lights or Reversing Aid Bars - Benzworld.org

Can anyone please help?
I have no reversing lights or reversing aids (those little bars that pop up when reversing). They both went out of commision at the same time and as the fuses are all ok I figure it's the Backup Lamp Switch on the gearbox.
What does this switch look like and where exactly is it? Could I replace it on my own?
Any help appreciated.

The starter lock-out/backup lamp switch (S16/1) is mounted to the transmission housing.

W/ ASR

Maybe all that is needed is a squirt or two with the contact spray?
