New kid on the block 95S320LWB

[:)] Great day in the morning, what a site and wealth of information. I spent many hours negleting my family reading information logged on this site, just kidding about negleting my family but ran across this and said this is what the Dr. ordered. Any info about my 95 S320 please respond. Thanks. my only problem I think is altenator/battery lite came on yesterday. pre diagnostics bad alt. I will let you all know play by play. C ya. JC

It was the alternator. My S Class is not whining any more back on the road for luxury motoring. cost about $ 400.00 parts, labor and tax $450.00. retired. 100% disabled Veteran. ooorahhh!!

Gosh, so sorry to hear that. Hey we appreciate your duties and serving your country that way. But plainly put it, in your situation these MB's would be nothing but trouble I think. That's because they're full of problems waiting for someone to fix. Since most of us here rather spend money elsewhere (family)than pouring it all into their MB, we do have to fix it ourselves. I too have a 95 s320 and looks like I am putting more money into it than my 3 other cars, caravan, celica, civic. Damn I didn't realize they all start with C. Althought I try to fix everything myself, I sure am getting tired of problems after problems. I know If I fix one problem, I can certainly expect another to arise soon. To make a long story short, problem out weights the pleasure as I don't get to drive mine often, stick with a honda or similiar.
