I m planning to plonk in a C32 AMG (W203)into my S320 as the current Straight Six does not have adequate power.
Do you guys think is it ok if I use the current transmission with a C32 AMG engine?

You will need to do the engine and transmission, most modern auto's are linked to the engine ECU some are even integrated so you will probably need to do both... but other then that... its pretty much a direct swap, you will have SO much left over engine bay space.. its gonna be kinda funny hehe. Thats actually a very good idea though b/c you can get alot of power out of those C32 motors and it does provide alot of torque. There will be alot of customizing the hoses and lines and etc to fit but it shouldn't be that hard b/c its such a compact motor..
where are you gonna get the motor from? do you have a source?
I m from Malaysia, and was wondering if I can plonk in C32AMG as I seen half unit complete with engine, harness, transmission as well as AMG Brakes.
Was seeing the possibility of geeting power without compromising more money (ie Transmission)
Since the 119 engine are quite bulky, I was thinking the possibility of getting a more spirited engine without higher capacity and lighter engine.
Anyway thanks for your help. Grateful for all the input. Will talk to backyard engineer and see how it goes.
