NEED ADVICE

i am ready to install h&r spring and new shocks next few days,my concern is the stance of the car right now is that the front is higher than the back(which is usually common for w140) what can be done to have the car front and back at same level.[?][?][?][?][?][?][?]

RE: NEED ADVICE

What is an "h&r" spring? Are you simply replacing your front shocks only?

RE: NEED ADVICE

i finally got the car to the shop and had the front springs and shocks changed today.it took the guys 3 hours to do the one side with the spring compressor, and only 45min with the second, cause we desided to use the torch to cut the old spring, and guys i will tell you thats the fastest way to go,maybe not the safest -but it worked .the shop guy had to torch it in six places and it took about 5 min to take the old spring out.tommorrow or monday they will do the rear shocks and springs,so meanwhile i took the car home -during the 1st 10-20mi the ride was somewhat bumpy that i kindof freaked out.but afterwards i guess the spring and shock settled and BELEIVE ME THE FRONT SUSPENSION BECAME LIKE TOTALLY NEW CAR RIDE,I MEAN THE FRONT REACTS TO THE ROAD VERY,VERY,VERY SMOOTH DAY AND NIGHT DIFFRENCE OVER STOCK.I AM AMAZED .DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AT 120MI/HOUR DOING VERY SHARP CORNERS-I THOUGHT I WAS DRIVING A FORMULA ONE-I WAS IN HEAVEN.AND I HAVENT EVEN DONE THE REAR !THE FRONT STANCE NOW HAS ALMOST NO GAP.
H&R+BILSTEIN RULZZZZZZZZZ. I WILL POST PICS ASAP PS.I AM ONLY PAYING $375 FOR LABOR-NOT BAD AH!

RE: NEED ADVICE

The standard time for taking out and installing one side of the springs and shocks is 30 minutes that is if you have the proper tools and know what your doing secondly why should you torch and cut the original springs, you may have good use for it in the future, hope your H&R springs don't give you the rodeo ride of your life. Good Luck
