Hey Ny, I never changed that switch however I removed the center console to change my shifter interior light. So here are the steps incase you need to remove the center console to gain access. Remove the ashtray using the side switch, then remove the wooden ashtray cover, I used a philips head from a drill set to get in there. using a torx wrench size 15 I believe, remove the two bolts on each side of the ashtray (inside). Then slide your hands in the ashtray port and push out the wooden console. You will have access to all the window switches Ect. The plastic trim around the knob just pops off. You may need to put the tranny in neutural or drive TO pull the console out. I think you need to do the same to access the wiring, here are the steps incase you do.

DON'T overtighten screws (5)! That can break the bond between the mating inserts and the wood trim. If that happens, you will have a hell of a time trying to get those screws out in the future. Just snug them gently.
