Does anyone know if it is possible to set the automatic locking system to lock the doors when you are inside. I want the doors to lock automaticaly, without haveing to use the button on the dashboard.
I have been unsucessful in my attempts to teach the wife to press the lock button. She inadveretently unlocks the trunk or raises the rear blind etc.
Any ideas appriciated.

The auto lock feature is only available on late post-97 W140 models. Previous models can ONLY be locked by the internal lock switch.
As I understand, cars without the auto lock feature cannot be programmed to do so, since the feature is built into the expensive auto comfort computer and this device is not reprogrammable.
