autorice.com - paid $, no parts

ordered a s600 grill, clear corners, and smoked tails on Dec 15 and I am yet to receive anything. After 3 emails he replied on Dec 17 stating everything was shipped, from Vancouver to Toronto.

Money was sent to him via paypal on Dec 15

Should take 3 days for a parcel to get to Toronto from Vancouver... 4 days max! Nothing is here

I have written him 5 times and no reply, whats funny is previously I used to get a reply within minutes when inquiring about placing my order

anyway, filing a fraud/investigation complaint with paypal by the weekend.

too bad.. previous few times I dealt with Jaime he was ok

don't get me wrong, if he doesnt have the product I can understand, and I will be patient if he sets a 2 month expectation date .. I just don't appreciate being lied to when he said everything was shipped on Dec 17 and yet there is nothing here!

don't deal w/ him!

Sorry to hear about your crappy experience.

Just to let you know, I have dealt with PayPal buyer protection before, and it is actually pretty crappy. The only refund you as much money as they can take out of the fraudulant person's PayPal account.

In my case, the person frauding me had $0.01US in their account, so that's what I got. With the Canadian dollar being so strong, that wasn't even enough to round up to $0.02CAN [V] [:D] PayPal also puts restrictions on their account.

In the end, the person who was frauding me ending up shipping me my items, so it all worked out in the end.

Good luck,
Bryan

If you used a credit card , not a checking account, to fund the Paypal purchase you can have the credit card company perform a chargeback with Paypal. You will get the money back. I recently sold a $1000 item to someone in California and have proof from Fedex that it was delivered, but the recipient claims he didn't get it. He initiated a chargeback and now my Paypal account is a grand in the hole, meaning I owe them!

WOW [:0]

I didn't knwo that people could just do a Credit Card chargeback to PayPal! That could complicate some situations . . .

Chuck, what are you doing about this fraudulant act committed against you?
