Me again, i got a lot of problems with my car and I have sofar used 6000 dollars on repairs minium !! but i am a "happy" w140 owner it drives like a dream.
Back is making a lot of noice its teriible I changed the springs, mecanics say that he belives that i need to change the dampers the automatic level, in europe thats quite expensive, my car is not low in the rear it just to however but after changing the springs which by the way had broken both back and front, in the left side its up, but the automatic level in the dampers is defently not working.
I don't think that's it. I've seen other posts saying that the rubber in the rubber bushings on the rear shock absorbers can deteriorate and fall away. This causes all sorts of banging from the back. Tell your mechanic to check that out. I doubt that the damping valves have anything to do with it.
