s600 with ADS shock question

I have a 95 S600 German market car with ADS. Has anyone had experience replacing these shocks? Any special tricks associated with the oil in the ADS system during replacement? Do you have a good source for the parts? Is it beyond the scope of a "do it yourselfer" with normal tools?

RE: s600 with ADS shock question

Do a search on shocks, accumulators, hydraulic. Lots of stuff in this forum on this subject.

RE: s600 with ADS shock question

You can do an active replace if your shocks are ok!! look on my gallery for pics.. you drain the oil out into a container whist refilling the resevoir with fresh oil..
