RE: hi all im new to the family and i need help big style

missing??? the one from under the passenger seat?

all S classes use the same pump - so any one will work.

lights flashing means alarm is not sync'd - try this - double blip alarm button, turn on ign with key within 30 secs, but do not start. turn off again. (or is it the other way round?)check owners manual....

try re-setting the air con - pull fuse for it (there are two fuse locations, one in trunk / boot - one in engine bay. Also get the system re-charged. Or is it not blowing at all? try this page:- http://www.continentalimports.com/ser_ic40142.html

welcome anyway to the dark side [:o)]

RE: hi all im new to the family and i need help big style

Hi,

Allow me to share my experience as far tas the aircon is conern.
1. Front fuse box located on the left hand side of the engine close to the hood, check fuse number 18, 20 AMphere that is the fuse for the blower, if in case your climate control switches are working and there seems to be no air blowing out, that is the only fuse that controls the blower, check fuse number 30 for aircondition and compressor. Fuse number 22 also controls the climate controller.

All this fuses are actual electrical flow to the climate control system, check them out first, if it works, then your done, but if not check on the right hand side of the engine compartment close to the fire wall, there is a black casing with an irregular shape of a rectangle, attached on it are some vacuum lines colored red and green, carefully review and unscrew the nuts on top and on the side (to take off the vacuum line) using a tester (regular current tester) find out if there is current going thru the blower motor. if not have an electrician check the blower motor for continuity current on the motor itself before you decide to have it changed.

Regarding the rear fuse box located on the trunk, they are only fuses for the following: power windows, poerseat control and most other convinient accessories with in the passenger cabin. nothing on the rear fuse box has anything to do with your current problem. going thru it will only waste your time and accomplish nothing, but you can try and at least see what it looks like of the rear fuse, its located on the right hand side inside the board. be careful not to damage any of the lines and control boxes (remote entry) and (vacuum adjustments)You do not want to create new trouble for yurself. Good Luck I recently acquired this technique thru some of the very helpful guys in the club as well as a hands on experience as a trouble shooter for benz.
