the ASR light is on, the gearbox doesen`t shift gears smooth like before, the ABS stoped working and the cruise controlas well,all this since the light is on. I realy need some help because like this car and is bad that i can`t fix it

a problem indeed.

the fuse are okay? including the one on base module?

the brake light switch is okay? reset it and try.

usual problem, throttle valve actuator, throttle valve actuator wiring, and the ASR control unit.

well the fuses are ok. all of them checked.the problem is that all this malfuncion appeared when the ASR light turned on.I tooked the benz to the local dealer but they haven`t found anything bad at the engine compartiment.do you think that the throtle actuator is the answer.

did they plug in a computer - and read the error codes? it is highly unlikely that the light will be on and no code to be stored.

also check the ABS sensors on all the wheels, if they break (with a stone for example) all the above will show up.

The problem is that i`ve been to the local dealer and after a check up we didn`t find anything wrong. So i realy don`t know what to.
