I have my 300se for over 13 years and trying to replace oil first time by myself.
I can not turn oil filter cap to losen using professional cap tool which has good grip. I believe this cap is closed without tool so that cap should be easily open with tool.

RE: Oil filter cap
If it is the black plastic cap on the left side of the engine.. i pour freshly boiled water on to it then use the removal tool..Do not try and use a strap remover you may break the cap..

Thank you Merc600sec. But my 300se
has filter location behind airfilter and it is alminum.
I tried to turn with big wrench but no chance to turn it is solid locked. I feel I may break alminum case holding filter. It is shaped like horn from lower engine block.
I can not believe cap locked this hard without using tool.
