Center Counsel

Hi, can some one help me in how to remove the center counsel for my S320 1995 . The switch is broken and I tried to pull it out but I couldn’t . I don’t know where to start ?!!!! Thanks

is the wood 2 separate pieces? (split below ash tray) if you are trying to put the mirror switch back in, it can be done real simple. remove the rectangular trim around shifter. insert a bent 90 degree steel rod into the left upper corner, (one end has to be 2 inches long) turn rod so it goes under the mirror switch and pull it up. if the clips are not broken, it will snap back in.
