The men in white coats are comming for meits driving me nuts.. one side of the engine.. all 6 cyls are not getting any fuel from the injectors but the other side is.. they have a common feed rail in the center..can anyone tell me where is the ecu for the injector loom ? has anyone suffered with this before ?

Sounds like your having similar problems as i was - bad running - wiring loom,running on 6 cylinders only etc.....Can't think of anything to help at the moment but i will have a look on Alldata.When it rains it certainly pours with these cars -12 years old 114k miles and a complete main dealer history with receipts totalling over £39000.00!!!Car must be nearly replaced over the years!But still i wouldn't drive anything else!(i've had Mercs,Vauxhalls,Fords,BMW's,Range Rovers etcso i speak from experiance i think - well for the UK anyway).[:)]
The initial diagnosis on my bad running was the cam sensor and i was quoted £88.00 for one.Incidentally i was unable to find any info out on Alldata![:(]

Ok I go into therapy later this week.. My MB has gone to the engine specialists. Their top guy drove the car and said to me"I dont know whats wrong with it BUT if i cant fix it I wont charge you a penny- phone me in 3 days time" So I am now charriotless more time to give to my other obsession.. My wife
