cool. Yeah. It certainly looked like a different color. I really like it. It is a nice dark blue, yet it still has a little light in it. It must be rare, cuz I have not heard of that color before.

Sorry about the no pic problem. I'll try it one more time on my office pc and if it doesn't happen I'll have to post the pics on my home pc this evening (this office pc is a part of large corporate system with all kinds of fire walls and protect devices). Here goes.

There! I had to trick the pc a bit But there's Kelly...wet and dry!

What I like best about Kelly (after owning a well loaded 1994 S420 and 1992 600SEL) is that she has no leveling system, no ride control, no anti-skid...She is just plain and simple to maintain...and is a great ride!

wow. That is truely very beautiful. I love Green in a W140. It is a nice and rare color.

And something about wet cars always seem to make them look better[:)]

Thank you for the praise as to Kelly. I was going to say that Kelly is a 1993 140. But the truth is...they only made 400SELs in 1993, so I'd be redundant. She has 82,000 miles and was sold new in Naples, Florida, and stayed in the Naples area till 2005 when it came to Illinois. I won an ebay auction in late February 06 and brought the car to my Tulsa, Oklahoma, home. I think she's happy here! (I think I may have a touch of car-obsession.)[:)]

It is interesting to note that, though a world apart, we both enjoy paint code 249 140's. Mine a modent 400SEL and yours a mighty S600, yet they appear to be identical. That is one of the joys of Mercedes cars.
