rear headrest problem in coupe

Hey all,

since a week now the rear headrests stopt functioning. Only now the left one is up en the right one is down so it looks a bit weird. i tried to pull out the fuses (both in the trunk as under the hood) for a minute or so. it didn't work, if you push the buttons there is a sound but nothing is moving. someone know how to fix this

tnx in advance [8D]

Ruud

Try using the buttons in the back seat to run them up or down, and not the dash switch. I have a problem with my SEL the dash button makes them go up and down but not in sync, there is a module under the seat that controls them My dealer said something about the gears, one of these days I will fool with it.

RE: rear headrest problem in coupe

none of the buttons work, i can only hear a clicking sound but then nothing happens [:(]

today i took out the back seat to look if I could manualy put the headrest up, because this looks like nothing, one up one down, didn't work thou. I didn't get the other seat out because the headrest has to be down to do that... the headrest on the passenger side is down and drivers side is up. so i can get both seats out only the back of the seat on the drivers side won't come out.

but how can it be that it happend at both the headrests at the same time? there is a motor for each one, right? or is it just one motor, and if that's so, can you tell me where it is located?

Hey Vanilla, Looks like you just uploaded these pics. How?

I've been trying to put pics in a folder that I created in the W140 section of the galleries, but they don't show up. I get the screen that says pic uploaded was successful, but after auto-redirection, the pics are no where to be found. Any help?

Thanks,
Brett
