BENZDOC rocks

I am just writing this little note for the benzdoc.
I had bought couple of months ago my first S500 1995 and had few issues with it. I needed help so I put up couple of questions in the forum.
I was very lucky that Kevin( Benzdoc ) responded to my questions. Without knowing that I am also in NY area he offered suggestions and advise.
I am so very greatful that he turned out to be only 30 minutes from me and boy he knows his mercedes.
He took care of all my issues and some more.
I love my W140 and the way it drives now.
I guess this forum does work because I was able to find Kevin, my mercedes Doc.
So if you are lucky enough that BENZDOC includes his comments on your questions, please pay attention to what he is saying. I can assure you that you will never get better advise then his.

RE: BENZDOC rocks

On my very first post (ETS, ABS lights come on intermittently) Benzdoc came through for me. I regret not being the one to start this thread. I moved out from NY and didn't miss a thing... Until finding out that Kevin lived there.

RE: BENZDOC rocks

Kevin changed by front shocks, motor mounts and rear axle outer and inner.
My car has been running hot for a while. Everyone was telling that it is okay for W140 to run hot.
Kevin will not accept this. Fixed my thermostate cleaned the entire radiator by taking it out.
The car runs so quite now that I have a hard time hearing the engine.
the dealer told me to change the control arm bushing. Kevin showed my why it was not necessary.
Also did not thing i needed rear leveling valves which the dealer recommended.
Also fixed my front bumper which was broken. Did not charge me anything for it.
I am so glad that i started this thread because it is very important to acknowledge somebody's good heart in this fast pace world we live in.
