If you could run a car fax for me I would REALLY appreciate it!
I was reading the recent post about digital odometers in the W140 not being available until after 94, but I have a 92 with a digital odometer. I'm wondering since I purchased the car and the seller never mentioned the instrument cluster had been replaced or a change in mileage.
OK sovietbenz.....your VIN comes up as a 1997 S600, that was purchased in Centerville Mass. In 6/98 car was retitled in Mountain Lakes, NJ. In March of 2002, the car was retitled in Amagansett NY. where it is still currently registered. The CarFax report looks clean, and states that the car was driven a little over 7000 miles per year. Need more info, let me know.

No other mileage info past that date.
2 owners, second owner(you?) Second owner had registered 3 times for said vehicle? 7/25/2003 12/31/2003 3/29/2004 Doesn't say a thing about what you had asked. Any thing else let me know.
just an FYI, but I used to have a summer house in Amagansett and it's right on the water, so chances are this car has been exposed to a Lot more salt then most.. Makes a BIG difference as to how well everything holds up, never mind how much harder everything is to work on w/ the resulting corrosion.
