Round 2 repairs?

OK, I have a '95 S320 and have fixed the major problems for this year 140. The MB shop inspected the car before I bought it and said the AC system had been fixed prior. The main wiring harness was replaced after 7 years/65K miles and I just replaced the AC fan regulator. My question is, are the repairs just as prone to fail as the OEM? In other words, is it common for the replaced AC evaporator to fail again within 6 years? Is it common for the replaced main wiring harness to disintegrate after 7 years? Or, would the repairs have a longer lifespan than the original flawed parts? Any mechanics that can say the replacement parts were re-engineered to have a longer lifespan?

Just want to know what to expect / plan for.

Thanks for comments.
