A/C Compressor Oil?

Does anyone know what kind, and how much oil to put in a remanufactured A/C compressor? Better yet, how about instructions for putting the oil in?

Thanks in advance

RE: A/C Compressor Oil?

Usually you can charge your A/C system conviently by yourself. If you are taliking about the amount of oil to top off the system, I dont know. But all you have to do is go to an automotive store like AutoZone and buy the A/C charger kit or just buy the charger hose with the correct fitting that connects to the LOW PRESSURE A/C hose. Just buy the cans that is labeled A/C OIL charge and some come with refigerant and stop leak also. Connect the can to the hose, plug into the LOW PRESSURE A/C hose located on the upper engine bay near the ABS control module. Start the engine and turn on the A/C FULL BLAST and let the A/C do all the work. Wait till it sucks up all the contents inside the can and Whola! Unplug everything.

All information herein is for reference only and caution is to be taken when performing work on any vehicle. Please consult a mechanic.
