Right when summer started and I needed to play some good tunes in my car while i keep the windows down, my cd changer stopped working. It displays "Loading" and "Disk 1" or any other disc that i press button for. I replaced the discs and re arranged them and cleaned the disk with a Maxell Disc Cleaner. Still says the same. Any ideas? Do i need a new one? How much does it cost? can i get it repaired?
Thanks

RE: CD Player not working :(
What sort of head unit and cd-player is it , are you shure discs facing right way in casset- when you load the casset does it scan all the discs ? I think it has to be in trunk end because your head unit is seeing the player.you can start by taking player of its mount and placing it in a different position - see if the shock mounts have gone overbord ..

I started uninstalling my cd changer to investigate when i noticed that one of the 9 pin DIN plugs had somehow come unplugged. Plugged it back in and all is well.
