ah, a body conversion...
i have seen a conversion of an S-class...
if you had seen that u never want a body conversion
the quality is bad, the change some orinal parts by poly-ester parts, u will always see that because u cant get them well painted.
and after some years it will tear too...

u will never get the MB-quality

RE: Your views please on these MODS

Every screw in your car is tested to fit. Its engineered to last. These body parts are made in China may times. First, the pics dont show the real deal. There is a huge difference in what it looks in reality. It can never match the original. And why would one want to change body styles by conversion? Atleast i would never convert.

You might want to stick to AMG, Lorinser or Carlson for after market modification and keep what you have or sell and buy the original model you like.

RE: Your views please on these MODS

I thing the Traffic department will not except any modification which change the car characteristic in my Country . I knew one of my friend own a Garage and convert his 1988 E 230 to earlier shape same as the white one and the silver . but latter on he was in trouble with the company and the traffic department so he couldn't register his car until he change it back to it's original shape.[:0]

The Posted Pictures looks nice and cool But I prefer to make the conversation to a car not in good body shape !![:p]

Better to buy the actual car than have to admit to being a phony, no?

I agree...

keep it original, because thats an insult to your car, trying to copy the new model. And you have a nice car in the 600sec..

If you like those cars, then sell your car, and buy that, instead of a cheap non-orignal copied replica conversion.

In my opinion, the w140's are better looking then the new s classes...

my 2 cents

RE: Your views please on these MODS

u are absolutely right
before the newer taillights of the new S, the c-class and the s-class looked the same.
and the w140 looked bigger and more impresive than the new s-class

RE: Your views please on these MODS

al sayegh:

I have friends in U.A.E and in neighboring countries, and you know thats what they call w140 there " the ghost", "chabah".

I have recently found that in some african countries like nigeria..they call the "w140".. "THE BEAST"

Both of these names are great description for a large ,powerful, intimidaiting vehicle that screams respect.
