THE LAST S-CLASS: W140 Tribute
To me[and probably many of you will agree] these cars are the very last true S-class cars MB built...ever. Infact the w220 is not an S. It dosen't even deserved to be called an S-class, a Ford Taurus wannabe, but not an S-Class. I have composed behind the scenes pics of how the w140 was developed during the 1980s. This is my tribute.

Thanks, it cool to see how the W140 started from clay to drawing board and then into the final production. wonder why they dropped the steering wheel buttons thought...

Thanks for all the positive comments from everyone. This forum always seems so mellow compared to the w126 forum, so I wanted to spark something up.

Hah, I still remember the day when W220 started showing up at dealers.... And the first time I sat in, close the door, and have a feel around the interior... One thing comes to mind...
Since when did they started selling $100K Chryslers?? LOL...
