ive just noticed that when ever there is a load going into my car it creaks like crazy.
i don't weigh much, just 175lbs and when i get into the car sure enough the car will creak when i sit.
what could be causing the creaking? is it just the springs getting old? i have about 75,000 miles on the 98 now. or is it something like a control arm or something. anyone got any ideas?

Hey there!
Do you mean the car "creaks" as in there is a loud sqeaking noise? When you drive the car is there a difference in handling in the car? Does it pull to the side going straight or when braking? Also does the car lower drastically when you sit in the car?
time 2 smile the reason i say that is it is nothing major just your ball joints and at around 50 dollars each depending on your relationship with your local MB dealer it is not a big fix money wise that is. Now go make the machine sound the way it is supposed 2 and change both although just one might be bad. This is my car.
