Hi,
The door strap on the drivers door of my S320 has broken and makes a huge 'click' when the door is opened and closed.
I have tried to remove the door card to get at it but I can't get it off - I think I must be missing some screws somewhere and it's driving me crazy. Are there some hidden screws I am missing?
Can anyone help?

mine did the same,.. you know what it is? look at the 2 bolts on the door above and below the opening where the door strap portrudes through the door,... tighten those 2 bolts and your the noise will disappear!

those naughty bolts have the tendency to get loose in time, making that god awful noise.

Mine was broken completely, which made the neighbors wake up at night due to the noise.

Had to buy new latch for about $70
