It's a long process, so if you still need it , respond to this. In the meantime , power the two fuses in the fusebox (rf & lr,lf & rr)with a jumper wire from the battery. This will power up the circuits so the switches will funcion. This will get the windows up.

mine had to be replaced

i didnt do it my self but it comprised of finding a whole new key barrel with the keys, and putting that in, how, i dont know, but my alarm doesnt work any more, and i now have 2 keys, one to unlock the car and another for ignition. my mechanic did it for around 500$ i think, im not sure though it was a long time ago/ 5-6 years...

I ordered a new lock and key for the ignition from the dealer $ 110.oo it was the same key for the trunk. the dealer didnot want to install it for me. they said the car was to old (an 87) and it was not thier policy to work on older cars that had not serviced before.[:(!] what a bunch of crap. really the job was a pain in the back side. and I had a hard time finding someone here to do it. It finally cost me 1100.00 for the install. alot of the front trim and dash assembly had to be remove to get at it.
