My new MB

A few pictures of my recently purchased 1989 420SE.

She's 130k with FSH and only cost me £200. Unfortunately, she is sick though as the timing chain has jumped.

It was destined to be broken for spares before I rescued it.

It will give me something to do over the winter and hopefully she will be cruising the highway again by the spring.

Nice looking project car! Sounds like you'll rebuild the engine, but looks like it's worth...

Interesting Project

Sounds like an interesting project. Best of luck.
Let's hear the outcome next summer. By the way, I've never seen mud flaps on a Mercedes.
Do they make & sell them in U.K.?

Re: Mud flaps

They are original equipment.

Don't know if they still produce them for current models but they certainly did for all W201, W124 and W126's.
