How Big is big?

when you say big wheels and tires what size are you looking for?
I have 20" rims with 245/35/20 in front and 285/35/20 in rear. the car was lowered with eibach suspension. The tires do not rub any where.

My mechanic told me 225/55/16 or 225/50/16 would be right for W126, pretty much what SheepAlert said too. I am planning to get some 03 tires for them when I wear out these RE950s on now.

Thanks- Mike

Hello Euro coupe, Ya i didnt say it was easy or cheap!
But it was done as for the rear its 285/30/20 pirelli P-Zero in rear. I have 20x8.5 rims all around with those tires. And no they dont rub. i dont remember offset but i couldnt do what was recommended. i will have to check back with you on that one. the wheels are katana Spazio and i can have a loaded car and have no problems. But i am a carefull driver.

Hey all,

I am running a set of BRABUS Monoblock II's, 18"x8.5" on Dunlop 275/35/18 in the back with 235/40/18 in the fronts., no issues with anything touching that shouldn't.

I am quite shocked that those 20"ers don't rub!

See pics below.

Did you have to make any modification to the chassis, suspension and/or fenders to get the 20s to fit?

Cheers.
