When I first start it after its been sitting for atleast 6 hours or so it makes a kinda loud metal on metal sound for like a minute or two after startup. kinda what like turning brake rotors sounds like. But like I said goes away after a minute or two.

Anyway, the noise you mentioned sounded like something is loosed around the valves area. Because once things heat up, the heat would make the noise go away. But have a trusted mechanic take a look, he probably could pin point your problem.

Ive got the same problem. Lubricated all the belts and the sound is now gone. Think its the belts that got tags. In my car it made a takk takk takk metalic noice.

Did cost me a silicone tube and 2 min of work.

Use the kind of silicone to have on doors in the winter.

I understand that the timing chain starts making a clattering noise at startup when it and the tensioner/guides etc are worn. The noise goes when the oil pressure has built up.
Haven't heard the noise myself, so I don't know how to describe it. Might pay to check that this isn't the source of the noise.
