How to disable alarm on 86 420 SEL?

So, my alarm has been going off like mad at 5am. Someone said the alarm control module was in the passenger footwell. Well, I see several boxes. I've attached an image. Can someone tell which one to unplug?

Thanks.

Just out of curiosity, what are both plugs connected to? I figured the alarm would be 1 plug.

You know Mercedes... no point in making things easy or simple....

It's all a scam... Mercedes like to have two of everything, that way they can sell twice as many spare parts.

Actually, I think it's probably just the Germans following good engineering practise, as usual. My guess would be one of the connectors hooks in all of the sensors to the controller, and the other hooks the controller to the response devices (lights, horn, etc). Technically this is the only one you'd need to disconnect, if you knew which one it was, although it's safer to disconnect both as faulty sensors might tend to drain the power if it's possible.

Anyway, thanks for this thread as I was getting ready to shoot my '89 420SEL and my neighbors were getting ready to shoot me. I returned from a 4 day business trip to find a letter from a neighbor detailing how often and for how long my car alarm had been going off. The 5am alarm was the last straw, however.

I dont see how that could affect anything, so long as the fuse isnt blown. How could it possibly?
