Spring and Shock Installation

How much should I pay for spring and shock installation. Also are KYB shocks and upgrade over original 20yr old MB shocks? Thanks

Get Bilstiens, they are much better shocks---check R &D enterprises in San Diego, CA---best price I have found---
the front shocks are cake---you can do it yourself--dont need to touch the springs

the rear, if you have self--leveling are very expensive to replace---these you need to support the rear as they do bear a fair amount of the weight

Replacing these with SW (non-self-leveling shocks) in cake

Spring replacement for me was about $250 labor---if you replace these with lowering springs make sure you get the ones W/O self leveling---my prefrence is H&R--tried the Eibachs--but the front of the car was too high--again RD Enerprises now www.shox.com -- http://www.shox.com/index.php4 has an awseome deal on these as does tire rack

I've got Eibach springs on mine.
The front isn't hight at all.

I replaced my stock springs with the Pro Series Eibach and left the KYBs that were on there alone.
I did go to the "one tooth" spring shim. It's an 8mm shim versus the "two tooth" that I had on there - 13mm shim.

Have a look at my pics to see how low it is:
