$3500 for A/C?? Forget that sh&#! Just hit Macy's and snag about $1000 worth of shorts & T-shirts, then put all 4 windows down and chill out.

With the $2500 you save you can buy some worthwhile goodies...

Are all temp gauges on all W126s in metric? Even in the US?

I am in Miami were most of the time temps are in the mid 90's, my car always run in the 90-100 mark and in traffic can go very high, the mechanics tell me that the fan clutch is the vital part if is not engaging properly your fan will run like crazy but the engine will continue to run hot.
