Me + Photoshop = This

Just playing around Photoshop, I have it in my computer but never used it before.

Original picture

This is what happens when you have no clue at all how to use Photoshop(really).

If you can see it, I need help doing the mix and match of colors. Still learning[:D]

Pretty good!

You should rotate the source image slightly CCW though.

Also, try using the preview funtion and the "variations" function under "image" and then "adjustements". First select the area you want to change.

You forgot to do the sidesills and door panels!

Nice job!

I also just got Photoshop. Maybe we (and other people who use photoshop) can exchange some tips and ideas. I really have problems to understand some of the functionality (and I don't have the time to read the manual). It is really amazing what you can do with this program, but the problem is (like always) time.

I started a project to make an air-brush style picture of my SL. This is what I have done so far, but it looks nothing like how I would like the end result to be, the paint for example I just put there as a quick test. To be able to attach the picture, I also had to make the picture smaller (original size is >2000 pixels wide so that I can use the full resolution of my printer) plus the hard jpg compression ruins the picture.

A little off-topic, but this is an oil-painting (Mario Andretti in a JPS Lotus 78 F1 car) that I did a couple of years ago. My one and only oilpainting so far. I also started painting a Pagoda SL, but Photoshop is more fun (and faster) so I think I will never complete it.
