Dear Chaps, I have an electric sun blind in my rear window, is this to correct the fact that they did not fit opaque glass as original equipment?
Should I have the blind removed and have some toilet frosted galss fitted?
Any views about having the other windows bricked up to stop the sun entering?
I need you opinions very quickly because it is getting sunny here in England and I want to ensure my Mercs are as safe as possible. Chris.
P.S. In case you think I am not taking the piss I will give you a clue,....I AM.
Used to spend a lot of time in Somerset- never got sunny enough to do any damage I could see. Do you have the auixiliary sun lamps installed over your rear window?
Breathe easy Chris.. in/out/in/out..keep repeating until automatic..
...Your rear sunblind is only for use when reversing from your garage on a Summer morning, which will occur for you (this year) on May 1st. (in/out)
As an aside, I believe there is somehow a link between leather short wearing Bavarian bierfest celebrants and Maypole dancers. At least the Germans have a reason not to drive (can't![:o)])
So worry not (in/out) as come May 2nd, it's yet again time for you to replace your headlight wiper rubbers.
Gotta have a piss, wish you were here as my own pockets are saturated.
All the best,
Dennis.
